Integrations
Discord server, payout Discord destinations, and the status of GitHub, call platforms and published records.
Integrations (community sidebar) is the admin page that connects the community's outside accounts and channels. Sections expand and collapse: unfinished ones open by default. GitHub App install, linked meetings, voting rules and published-record settings stay on their own pages; this page shows their status and links there.
Discord server
Connect Discord server opens Discord, where you pick a server you manage and add the Treasury Guild bot. The bot asks for view, send and thread permissions. One server per community; Change server repeats the step with another one. Disconnect takes the bot out of the server unless another community still uses it.
That one connection unlocks several things:
- Voice capture on Calls: while a Discord call runs, the bot reads who is in the chosen voice channel (it never joins or listens). Private channels need the bot's role allowed to view them.
- Proposal announcements and discussion threads: pick a text or forum channel under Proposal announcements on this page. The same channel also posts outside-spend alerts and on-chain anchor reminders when those apply. See how announcements behave.
- Payout announcements per treasury under Payout Discord: prefer a text or announcement channel on this server (the bot posts), or paste an incoming webhook URL if you do not install the bot. The optional fiat rate in the payout footer is set on Members.
If you add the bot on Discord but the connection is never finished, the bot leaves that server by itself within about an hour.
Proposal announcements
With a Discord server connected, pick a text or forum channel for proposal milestones (forum is best: one post per proposal). Treasury Guild posts a test message when you save. Governance settings and the Proposals page show whether a channel is set and link here to change it.
Payout Discord
Each treasury can announce confirmed payouts in Discord. With a Discord server connected, pick a text or announcement channel from a dropdown (the bot posts). Without the bot — or if you prefer — paste an incoming webhook URL (Channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks). Configure one destination per treasury here; the Treasury page only shows status and links back. Details of what each announcement contains are under Treasury → Discord notifications.
Zoom account
Connect Zoom account connects the Zoom account that hosts the community's calls. Zoom only reports on meetings that account hosts, so run your rewarded calls from one shared account. Disconnect deletes the stored access; removing the app inside Zoom does the same. How capture works is under Calls.
Google Meet account
Connect Google account connects the Google account that creates the community's Meet calls. Google asks for one Meet permission (read access to conferences); tick it, or the connection is refused. Meet only reports a meeting to the account that created it. Disconnect deletes the stored access and revokes it at Google. How capture works is under Calls.
Other connections
The page also summarises:
- GitHub — whether the GitHub App is installed and how many repositories are linked to workgroups. Install and link on the GitHub page. When Governance publishes signed tallies to a GitHub archive, that archive repository must sit on the same installation.
- Linked meetings — count of recurring Zoom or Meet meetings linked under Call platforms. Discord voice still needs the server above.
- Records — whether frozen tallies are kept in Treasury Guild only or also published to IPFS or GitHub, and how the spending check behaves. Change those under Governance.
A short Setup list on the community Overview points admins at unfinished steps; dismissing an item hides it on Overview only, not on Integrations.
